Clippers Seeking Playoff Spot

(WINDSOR, ON) – Going into Sarnia Wednesday night the Clippers needed a good effort and a win to keep pace for a playoff spot in the western conference. However the Clippers failed on both fronts, as the fell to the lowly Sarnia Pacers 10-6. The loss puts the Clippers record at 8-7 on the season. With just five games remaining in the regular season the Clippers find themselves two points out of the final playoff spot. The next five games for the Clippers will define their season.

Trevor Learn scored two goals and added three assists in the losing cause as the Clippers outshot Sarnia 65-42. Lucas Ducharme also scored twice for the Clippers while Jeff Rivait and Brendon Anger each scored once. Kyle May went the distance in goal for the Clippers to take the loss.

Next up for the Clippers are the 11-3 Spartans. Game time on Saturday night at Forest Glade arena is 7:00 pm.
