Unconquered Sun Adds 10 New Jobs
(WINDSOR, ON) – Windsor’s own Unconquered Sun Solar Technologies is pleased to announce the immediate development of a 125KW Rooftop Solar installation on the grounds of the prestigious and locally historic Kingsville Golf and Country Club.
The agreement will see Unconquered Sun, a leading Solar Panel manufacturer, perform the Engineering Procurement and Construction on the project with ownership of the FIT contract and Kingsville Golf and Country Club receiving significant lease revenue for the utilization of empty roof space located on their utility building and Pro Shop.
The partnership is a win-win that requires no financial investment from the golf course, lending only unused roof top real estate. The project will generate over 2 million dollars’ worth of clean energy during the contract term and work has already begun at the Unconquered Sun manufacturing facility on the 500 plus Windsor Series Solar Panels required for the installation. The first of which are slated for install in June. The deal has created 10 immediate new full time jobs at Unconquered Sun for production staff, and installation crew.
The deal marks an expansion of Unconquered Sun’s development branch to include lease options in its product line
‘It was of critical importance to Kingsville Golf and Country Club that we choose a local Solar manufacturer for partnership on this project. It was our wish at Kingsville Golf and Country Club that we keep our money in the local economy of Windsor and Essex County,” outlined Doug Quick, General Manager of the Kingsville Golf and Country Club.
Fittingly, the impetus of the partnership came from Unconquered Sun’s newest product, the USST Solar Powered Golf Cart.
‘We commissioned one of our first Solar Powered Golf Carts at Kingsville Golf and Country Club. It drove approx. 180km without needing a plug in to charge,” said Sean Moore, Founder and CEO of Unconquered Sun.
“The Solar Powered Golf Cart is a great example of an immediate practical use for solar and a great showcase of the technology a Windsor company like ours is capable of producing. I think we mirrored the values of Kingsville Golf & Country Club with our innovation and I think our products resonated with their passion for environmental health and sustainable golf course management. As a full circle benefit, our innovation ultimately resulted in more green tech. jobs for the area.”
