Ugly Win For Clippers

By Mike Soulliere

(WINDSOR, ON) – It was not pretty, but the Clippers got the job done in overtime to defeat the Sarnia Pacers 12-11 on Wednesday night. The win improves the Clippers to 5-4 on the season.

Brendon Anger scored the winning goal with 45 seconds left in overtime to put the Clippers up for good and preserve the win. Anger was also excellent on draw balls all night as well. Tyler McDowall scored three times and Jeff Rivait and Lucas Ducharme each scored a pair while Nathan Hodgins, Jarred Riley, Hunter Bushnell and Trevor Learn each scored once to round out the scoring. Kyle May went the distance in goal for the win.

The Clippers will host a pair of weekend games when they host the Wallaceburg Red Devils in a rare Friday night home game. Game time is 8:00 pm. On Saturday the Orangeville Northmen come into town. Game time Saturday night is 7:00 pm
