Clippers Do About Turn

By Mike Soulliere

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Clippers did their best Jekyll & Hyde impersonation tonight with the winless Sarnia Pacers. After knocking off the 5-1 Elora Mohawks on Saturday night with an impressive victory, the young Clippers put in a poor performance against the Pacers. Despite out-shooting the Pacers 80-44 the Clippers could not get a key save or score a key goal when they needed it most.

Lucas Ducharme led the Clippers offense with 4 goals and 2 assists. Jarred Riley and Trevor Learn each scored twice while Brendon Anger, Bryan Larocque and Tyler McDowall scored singles. Mike Cameron and Kyle May shared the goaltending for the Clippers in the loss.

Next up for the Clippers is a trip to Owen Sound on Saturday night to take on the North Stars. After that the Clippers will visit Sarnia with hopes of redemption next Wednesday night.
