Twice The Legal Limit

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) – On April 7, 2012 shortly after 7:30 p.m. an officer checked a 1998 Ford van on Richmond Street, Chatham.

The driver, a 25-year old Chatham man, was arrested for having care and control of the vehicle after consuming too much alcohol. Breath tests determined the man had more than twice the legal amount of alcohol in his body to have control of the vehicle.

The man will face a criminal charge of Care and Control of a motor vehicle with over the legal amount of alcohol in his system.
