David Liss Talks At Art Gallery

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Art Gallery of Windsor will host a talk by David Liss, Artistic Director & Curator, Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art. It will take place Thursday, March 22, from 7 to 9 pm at the AGW.

Since the mid-1980s David Liss has organized, produced and curated numerous solo and group exhibitions of contemporary art and has overseen related publications, educational programs, performances, events and travelling exhibitions in Canada and internationally.

Some recent activities include participation in the curatorial programs of the ARCO art fair in Madrid and the PhotoMiami art fair, and serving on the advisory committee for the Toronto Sculpture Garden. Liss is a contributing editor to Canadian Art magazine, an Adjunct Professor at York University, and is a practicing and exhibiting artist.

Admission is FREE

This event is part of Alone + Together a 2011/2012 Lecture Series presented in collaboration with the University of Windsor’s School of Visual Arts and the AGW.
