Local Companies Join Forces

(WINDSOR, ON) – KELCOM Voice and Data Solutions and KELCOM Document Division, part of the KELCOM group of companies, a high-quality communications provider based in Windsor announced today their decision to begin the development of a large scale 63 kW rooftop solar project to be installed on their building located at 8605 Twin Oaks Drive.

Windsor’s own Unconquered Sun Solar Technologies Inc., a leading solar panel manufacturer and solar system integrator, has been awarded the contract. 

The 63 kW rooftop FIT project will be capable of generating 81 Mega-Watt/Hrs of electric power annually. KELCOM’s system will incorporate 252 lightweight, high efficiency 250 Watt ‘Windsor Series’ solar panels.  All will be produced at Unconquered Sun’s manufacturing facility by Photovoltaic Technicians, many of whom were formerly employed in the automotive sector. 

This collaboration highlights KELCOM’s progressive business acumen and philosophy towards clean energy production. It also showcases KELCOM’s desire to support the local economy by choosing a Windsor built panel and commissioning Unconquered Sun for all EPC work.

The introduction of the new lightweight, high efficiency Windsor Series product line is part of a multi-phased expansion at Unconquered Sun designed to satisfy the increased demand for Ontario made solar panels (a key requirement for all FIT and microFIT contracts).
