Clippers Lose Opener

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Clippers lost to the Six Nations Rebels 21-9 in the opening game of their best of 5 western conference semi final series. The series will resume with game two being played at Forest Glade Arena on Tuesday night. Game time is 8:00 pm.

Alex Seguin and Steve Hinek each scored twice for the Clippers, while singles were added by Trevor Learn, Graham Adams, Corey Burchell, Brendon Anger and Jeff Rivait.

The Clippers and Rebels played a pretty even first period trading four goals apiece, but the wheels came off for the Clippers in the second period as the Rebels put up 11 goals for a 15-6 lead after two periods. The Rebels cruised home in the third period to take game one of the series.
