(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) – On March 25, 2011 an employee of the Home Hardware store on Keil Drive in Chatham contact police to report a theft. He found empty packaging for two items and viewed security video to investigate. The video shows a man browsing the tool section. He selected two items and relocated them to a different part of the store where he removed the packaging and concealed the items. He exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the items valued at $183.00.

Tuesday, police located the suspect and arrested him.

Dale JACKSON, 24, of Poplar Street in Chatham has been charged with theft and possession of property obtained by crime. He was released with a future court date.
