Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop late this afternoon and evening as a low pressure system currently over Wisconsin approaches the area. Wind gusts to 100 km/h, large hail of 2 centimetres in diameter and torrential downpours are the main threats. There is a lesser threat of an isolated funnel cloud or tornado.
